What's going on with the Scribbler's Contribution List?

Membership to the Club is offered (joyously) for free at the moment so the barrier to participation is hopefully very very low. But the Club does not come together without time, money, and effort. Instead of asking for a specific investment, I'm offerung options that hopefully feel aligned and open.

What's the contribution list?

The Scribbler's Contribution List is a way for us all to hold the Club together, without the pressure having to contribute funds. I understand that life can get super busy, so maybe it's easiest for you to toss a few dollars my way one month, but helping with set up and tear down works better another month.

What are our options?

There are three ways you can help the Club, and if you attend a club meeting, you'll be asked in the RSVP section to make a selection of the following:

  1. A monetary contribution (you can use Venmo or PayPal)

  2. A time contribution (by helping with set up or tear down)

  3. A snack contribution (bring a snack to share!)

  4. Something else (share where you're at and we'll figure something out!)

If you pick #1, you can send something my way any time from RSVPing until the end of the meeting, if you prefer #2, you can plan to be at the DWPC sometime between 5 and 5:30 to help with setup and/or hang out from 7:30-8 to help me with tear down. Hopefully #3 and #4 are self-explanatory!

Why are we doing this?

This is the easiest way I could think of for us all to contribute to the Club without insisting on a “one size fits all” approach—or changing it up every month! We'll give this a go for a bit and adjust if this doesn't serve our needs.
