by writers, for writers
While volunteering as museum guides at the Molly Brown House in Denver, Colorado, Club Co-Founder and President, Kaitlynn, and Club Co-Founder, Jody, were caught in one day in conversation.
As they talked, they began sharing writing tips, book recommendations, and some writing enouragement. Others heard and wanted in. That’s how the Scribbling Club was born.

Writing around other writers isn’t easily done. But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. The Scribbling Club does its best to offer a safe and open environment for writers of all kinds. It doesn’t matter what our club members are working on, we’re here to cheer you on.
There are two options for membership with The Scribbling Club. Both can be active at the same time, but please note The Denver Scribbling Club membership is on a referral-only basis and requires direct endorsement from a current, active Denver Scribbler.
The Two Scribbling Clubs
The Denver Scribbling Club
This is an in-person writer’s club. We meet monthly and engage in conversation and writing prompts while enjoying snacks and drinks.
Membership registration is not open to the public at this time.
The Online Scribbling Club
This is an email-based club for writers. You can sign up for the monthly newsletter and upgrade to receive regular reminders of your writing goals and encouragement towards them. Registration is free.
